John Lewis brings a deep background in storytelling, leadership, and community engagement to his work with the Robert Craig Films Foundation. He has always loved television and film and the power they hold to tell meaningful stories that raise awareness of real human struggles and inspire action.
In the late 80’s through half of the 90’s, John founded and co-owned a modeling and talent agency, where he taught actors and models to understand the television and film industry. This early work shaped his long-standing commitment to developing talent, guiding teams, and supporting story-driven initiatives.

For the last 15 years, John served as the live video director and technical director for the television show “Back to The Altar.” He also served as an acting coach and assistant director for many theatrical productions, overseeing 100 to 250 cast members through his church, strengthening his leadership in large-scale productions and volunteer-driven environments.

In May 2023, John and his wife served as Executive Directors for the sex trafficking awareness film “MAYA” alongside Robert Craig Films, helping bring attention to a rapidly growing and often hidden tragedy.

John and his wife also served as Executive Producers on No Address, released in 2025. The film follows a group of individuals who unexpectedly fall into homelessness, capturing their journeys and drawing attention to the national homelessness crisis. This work is deeply personal for John. He lost a close friend to mental illness and homelessness, a comedian, actor, and military veteran who continued to fall through the cracks of a broken system lacking proper resources. This loss further strengthened John’s commitment to the Foundation’s mission and its focus on advocacy, awareness, and real-world impact.

Beyond film, John and his wife Jet have long served their community and continue to lead their neighborhood watch group. He is a lead on the community app NextDoor and helped form the neighborhood group “Good Neighbors,” where he served as a security advisor and private patrol advisor. The group worked closely with local police and elected officials to strengthen communities and support those experiencing homelessness.

Since 2010, John has been a licensed minister, leading or co-leading missionary trips to Israel, Egypt, Cambodia, Rome, Greece, Turkey, and more. He has also served for the last 19 years as a volunteer job coach for a young man with Down Syndrome through his role at Chuck E. Cheese.
John believes deeply in the mission of the Robert Craig Films Foundation and in using the power of film and storytelling to raise awareness, advocate for change, and support solutions for homelessness and other critical issues.
